We’ve taken the expense, logistical and financial burden of opening and operating a commercial kitchen and reduced it to a fixed cost on which to base your new or growing specialty food business.
RENT OUR KITCHEN
Start with Us, Grow with Us! Our hourly rates mean you only pay for what you use, removing the burden of long leases and expensive start-up costs. In addition to helping new businesses get off the ground, our affordable kitchen space helps established businesses expand.
Neighbor Made is your kitchen for event & corporate catering, training, product development, brainstorming and of course production. Products already made or developed in our kitchen can be found in farmer’s markets, cafes, restaurants, markets and grocers throughout New England and beyond.
While you’re certainly welcome to bring your own ingredients, as our clients, you’ll also be able to order through our accounts with a number of local and national vendors. We’ll simply bill your account with us for the items ordered. Often you can combine orders for better purchasing power – you gain economy and access beyond the reach of most small producers.
When in the kitchen, don’t be separated from your food business. Bring your laptop and use our free internet access, printer, scanner and fax machine to stay connected with your customers and suppliers.

THE KITCHEN SPACE
Neighbor Made is a 4500 square foot commercial kitchen facility, located at 52 Dunbar Street in Keene, NH. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our space is divided into four functional areas: a full kitchen with divisible work areas, pastry kitchen, clean room, packaging storage area.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with commercial stoves, convection ovens, size-reduction equipment, commercial mixers, refrigerators, freezers, storage and stainless work tables.
The only items we ask our clients to bring are your small wares such as utensils and knives, and disposable items (plastic wrap, foil, sheet pan liners, etc).
We can accommodate a wide range of needs, and support growing businesses – From a solo baker to a team of cooks using our kitchen at one time. Whether it’s daily production runs or one time catering event, we have the space. In addition to the kitchen areas, we offer other amenities to help your food business.
Space dedicated to ware washing that includes a Hobart automatic tunnel dishwasher and three bay sink with cleansers and sanitizers included – helping you finish your day as efficiently as possible.
No more hauling food ingredients to different locations every day. Store your ingredients with us and it will be there when you need it. Both dry and cold storage are available.
Shipping & Receiving
Have your bulk ingredients and packaging supplies shipped right to the kitchen. A loading dock and material handling equipment makes fast work of your receiving and shipping tasks. One piece or a pallet full can be shipped from our shipping area and you’re welcome to use our UPS or FedEx accounts and enjoy deeper shipping discounts.
